FormFlex® MK Growing Trough

The FormFlex® MK (medium channel) Cultivation gutter is specially designed for outdoor strawberry cultivation on racks or in mini tunnels. The stable, flat bottom provides an ideal support surface for trays, containers or loose substrate, which remains evenly positioned and stable throughout the entire growing cycle.

The integrated waist channel accommodates a drain hose 40 mm below the substrate. This design ensures efficient drainage of drain water and helps prevent water accumulation. This creates a healthy root environment and even crop development.

The MK Cultivation gutter is available in different widths and heights, making it easy to adapt the system to a variety of cultivation setups and structures. This flexibility makes the MK gutter a practical and reliable solution for all soft fruit.

Specifications

The central drain channel accommodates a Ø 40 mm hose and ensures uniform water distribution without accumulation. The closed channel prevents dirt ingress and algae growth, while rounded edges prevent cuts. The MK gutter is specifically designed for support from below and makes this Cultivation gutter very suitable for rack cultivation.

At the special request of our customer, Haoyu Group, this impressive project was rolled out precisely during the traditional nationwide closure of factories and businesses. A huge thank you to our fantastic on-site team, who worked tirelessly during the holidays to successfully complete this project on time.

Smart alternative to hanging gutter system in light greenhouses

A clever alternative has been installed at cucumber growers Van Der Waal and Fitterstee: special supports that support a gutter system without adding weight to the greenhouse structure. This makes an efficient cultivation system possible, even in lighter greenhouses.

Second Skin at De Bruijn Tomatoes

The new Second Skin application of Metazet was used at De Bruijn Tomaten at the end of last year. This plastic top layer ensures that the gutters look smooth and evenly white again, which radiates hygiene. Large orders have already been placed for tomato cultivation: 28 kilometers of gutters were fitted with Second Skin. With this, growers experience the innovation almost as if they were getting new Gutters, with clear advantages in terms of hygiene and ease of maintenance.
