Heating tube welding is labor-intensive and specialized. Also, welding must be done early in the construction process, which creates logistical constraints. With MetaFIT, Metazet has the solution: using conicity to ensure a strong, watertight connection of heating pipes, i.e. without welding.

We first opened our demo greenhouse – the predecessor to the World Horti Center – back in the year 2000. Today, we operate our own demo greenhouse in Kwintsheul and our R&D centre ‘Proof’ in Honselersdijk, where we test our solutions under real-life conditions – so we and our customers know that the products we create will work in growers’ greenhouses.
Nothing listens as closely as customization. Fortunately Metazet has technical knowledge and knows the greenhouse world inside out. We speak the grower’s language and can therefore listen carefully, identify the problem and come up with perfectly fitting solutions.
Around 2000, we started the then Demokas. This was the forerunner of today’s World Horti Center. Today we have our own Demo Greenhouse in Kwintsheul and a separate R&D Center where we test our solutions in practice. In this way we and the grower know for sure that what we devise and make also works in the greenhouse.
