Discover Metazet’s practical solution: the Hoistable Gutter System (HGS), specially designed for effortless lifting of cultivation gutters.
Based on our reliable HDL system, the HGS system offers a smart addition to modern horticultural technology.
With the option for an additional lifting axle, our HGS system not only elevators gutters, but also increases efficiency in your cultivation processes. Advanced technology allows “even” gutters to move up synchronously while “odd” gutters move down, and vice versa. You also have the flexibility to hoist both “even” and “odd” gutters independently.
And that’s not all. Compared to a normal system, which typically supports 7 chutes per 8.0 meters of canopy, the HGS system offers unmatched capacity. With the HGS system, you can effortlessly scale up to 10.5 gutters per 8.0 meter canopy, or even 12 gutters per 9.0 meter canopy (750 mm from gutter to gutter). This translates to an impressive increase of about 50% additional gutters (and thus plants) per canopy.
The result? Improved flexibility, optimal space utilization and a significant increase in capacity per crop canopy.
HGS is capable of lifting a weight of up to 18.5 kg per m2 of greenhouse area. With this, you can hoist about 7,000 square feet. All components, such as drives, self-locking worm boxes and shaft tubes, are carefully calculated by us. As a result, the system lasts a long time.
The system is integrated into the greenhouse structure in new construction. Therefore, it is important to consult with your greenhouse builder before manufacturing. A lifting shaft is mounted under each truss (greenhouse truss) to which steel cables are attached. These shafts are connected to self-braking worm boxes, which are electrically driven. Thus, a weight of an installation with an area of about 8,500 m2 can be moved up to a height of 3.5 meters. With some modification, it is also possible to install this system in existing greenhouses.
